As you can see from the heading, today's blog is all about food. Just some review of the cafe and restaurant I had visited recently. 

D'Good Cafe - Holland Village

I visited this cafe last month. It is a cozy and nice place to gather with friends. The deco of the cafe makes me feels like home.

I tried their potato salad and ice blend coffee. The taste not bad. And the potato salad portion is quite big which I can't finish it alone. 

Senjyu - Northpoint

This is a Japanese restaurant and is the only one branch in Singapore. The sushi and sashimi is quite nice. Really love their sushi so much. But the wasabi is not so nice. Overall, it's a nice experience. The services is really not bad. 

Saveur - Far Eat Plaza

Wow! The French cuisine is really satisfying. The serving time is fast and their service is good. The price is reasonable. It is definitely a nice place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends. Highly recommend here for a tasty yet affordable French cuisine.

Tuna Salad 

This pasta is their recommended appetizer. 

Duck confit

Poulet which means chicken in French. 

Must try this. Highly recommend! 

Moscato :) A bottle of it will be cheaper if it is your birthday month. 

Earl grey creme brûlée. The taste of earl grey is not too heavy and overall it's not too sweet. 

Panna Cotta 

Victor's Kitchen - Sunshine Plaza

My colleague recommend me this place for dim sum. 

叉烧菠萝包. This is not in their menu list as they not selling it every day. 

猪肠粉

Oh ya. The drink you must not miss is 冰镇奶茶. 

Tiong Bahru Bakery - Tangs

They are famous with their croissant. A nice place for tea time. 

Craft - Holland Village

The place isn't that cosy but still a good place to have some bites.. 

This waffle sandwich is just so tasty. There is bacon, green apple and vege with honey mustard sauce. 

Tummy satisfied! 

How can you miss the small bites in cafe?! Craft wings. Yumz! 

The Daily Scoop - Holland Village

Ice cream lover, this is really worth your trip. Sweet indulgence! So tempting... Really love it so much!! Can never resist it.

Dolce Tokyo - 313@Somerset

Visited Dolce Tokyo for the very first time with my best colleague for dessert hunting.

Here's our dessert bento: 

-Panna cotta with mixed berries (not soft enough to melt when put into mouth)

-Banana with vanilla gelato (caramel topped banana, it's nice)

-mochi with konyaku jelly and white fungus

-cake of the day (carrot cake, this is the only dessert that I don't like in this bento and both of us just eat half of it)

49 Seats and Strangers' Reunion

Impromptu meet up with bestie to have dinner together somewhere near Outram Park.

I bring her to 49 Seats as I saw the reviews of this restaurant on the Internet is quite good. 

Mushroom soup is what I like to order whenever I went to have western dinner.

Price : $5.90

Love to have fizzy drink to match with western food so I ordered Blackcurrent Fizz.

Price : $2.50

My main course is Genesis Fish.. It's deep fried fish with ham and cheese inside served with fries and garden salad.

Price : $15.90

Stephanie ordered Chessy Chicken where you can choose the side dish. The choices are : fries, mashed potato, pasta salad and garden salad.

Price : $16.90

The food quite nice and it is at nett price. No service charge and GST. But the service is not that good because of shorthanded..

After that, we went to Strangers' Reunion, a cafe which is about 15 mins walking distance from 49 Seats.

Artistic and cozy place to enjoy a nice chat with families and friends.

Red Velvet Buttermilk Waffle with pistachio truffle, chocolate fudge and vanilla ice cream. The price is $14.90

This cup of coffee is Magic at price of $5.50. I don't really remember why it is named Magic. I only know that they don't use espresso for this little cup of coffee.

We also tried the Honey Granola Yoghurt, $8.00. There is honey granola in the middle of the cup. Yummy! 

Highly recommend this cafe. The service is good and the food serve fast. I will definitely visit again with my family and friends.

2 degree ice art 2013-2014

Have an impromptu meet up with bestie and Nathan to 2 degree ice art on 27 Apr..

Actually I have planned with Steph for quite long, but we always can't find a suitable time where we both can.. 

Then now there is promotion for the entrance fee $20 on weekends.. The ice art not really worth it, but at least have an experience lo.. The ice sculpture is nice but maybe the space is nothing enough that's why.. 

Other than taking photos of sculpture or with sculpture, we can play slides.. That's the only fun part in it when you playing with your friends.. 

Oh ya! If you like to drink, there's an ice bar.. Beer in an ice mug.. After finish drinking, you can smash the mug to the ice wall.. I don't drink so I never enter the ice bar.
