Christmas! A miraculous season...

Christmas is a season of great joy. The warmth and love surrounding Christmas is a joy to be savored with family and friends.

Remember when I was still young, a small kids, I actually believe in Santa Claus.. Till now I'm still somehow believe in it.. There are Rudolph and elf too. Elf will help Santa with gifts packaging while the flying reindeer are held to pull the sleigh of Santa and help him deliver Christmas gifts to all the children.
I love this season, not only because I can get X'mas gift, but also the decoration and the warmth of this season. Town area are all nicely decorated with lighting, X'mas tree with presents, and snow flake.. It's so beautiful! How I wish it's snowing here...

This year Christmas I bought myself a bag.

I wore this new pair of shoes from Vince Camuto in this Christmas. So I guess this also consider as a X'mas gift for myself..

Here's a Christmas cup with Santa and reindeer from love mum.

I actually having X'mas gift exchange with the lovely colleagues on the 23rd Dec in office..

It's all our pressie! <3

All of us get our own present. :)

Here's my cute X'mas present from Glenys.. It's a hand cream and lip balm from Etude House..

Some sweet gifts from colleagues.. Thanks all!

Wish you all a Merry Christmas. May the glorious message of peace and love fill you with joy during this wonderful season. May the Chimes of Christmas Glory add up more shine and spread smiles across the miles, today and in the New Year. =D

Family's KL trip

KL trip with family just to window shop and eat..

Here's the hotel : V Garden. As we don't stay for long hours in the hotel, so this little room is enough for us to have a soundly sleep. It's quite comfortable. A night stay only MYR 138.

The small garden at the ground level of the hotel. You can have your meal there.

Do you like Vietnamese cuisine? I quite love it.
I went to O'Viet @ Sunway Pyramid, a place to eat tasty authentic Vietnamese food. The restaurant is nicely decorated and it's ambience is calming.
We ordered 3 appetizer and 3 main course plus dessert and drinks.

This platter is for us to wrap in a rice paper. Once you order this, they will give each person a piece of rice paper to wrap it as a popiah. It come with peanut sauce and sweet & sour sauce. I actually put the sauce in the wrap to eat together. If not, you can dip and eat. Chewy and nice. I love it!

Prawn roll. Because allergy to prawn, so I can't eat and don't know the taste of it.

Fish cake salad. The salad is nice with their salad sauce. It's really appetizing.

Lemongrass fish cake with cold noodle. They also serve it with the peanut sauce and sweet & sour sauce. The taste is almost the same as the wrap platter. But the peanut sauce best!

Chicken and prawn noodle. The clear soup have very strong taste of chicken. They will serve it with a plate of vege, then you put it in the bowl of noodle yourself. The vege are beansprout, basil leave and mint.

If you like to have a spicy one, you can order :
They actually put the beansprout in a separate plate served together, but I only remember to take the picture after put the beansprout into the bowl. The vege is all the same as the bowl of noodle above.

Durian pancake. It's soft and spongy, taste real nice!

Apple cider. It's sour!

I don't remember what the drink is. Only know that both contain chendol. I don't really like it. Prefer to go to Malacca to have chendol with their Gula Melaka.

Dripping coffee. Vietnamese signature coffee. If you're coffee lover, it's a must try! But it taste quite bitter like espresso.

If you love Japanese cuisine, you can go to Hokkaido Ichiba, LG level, 1 Utama. The Jap food is so delicious. Yum Yum Yum! It's also much more cheaper than in Singapore. Baked lobster is just MYR 22.80. MUST TRY!

Malacca trip 10/12/13-11/12/13

Holiday away from Singapore? Cheaper short getaway with family, just to relax? Malacca will be a great choice..

Marvelux Hotel

Family room with two king size bed. The hotel is quite new so everything is clean and hygiene. Room is big enough. The price for this room is about MYR 350.

Peranakan fusion cuisine is a must-eat in Malacca.. Recommend : Nyonya Makko. Definitely never miss out peranakan cuisine if I go to Malacca.

Beancurd with satay sauce.. The satay sauce really nice..

The sour plum squid is a little too sour.. I don't really like it because I don't eat sour food.

The chendol at Makko is the best with their Gula Melaka. This bowl of chendol is MYR 3.50.

Sweet tooth?
Malacca' best-known brands : Nadeje Patisseries. Their mille crepes have become near-legendary since 2006.

Rum and Raisin

Tiramisu

Green Tea

Pleasure rich layer of butter soft creaminess; immaculate in terms of texture, subtle and not too sugary, taste-wise. It only cost MYR 9.90. I guess you wouldn't find such price in Singapore.

The flavour I love most is Green Tea. Although I'm not a green tea lover, but the green tea crepe cake is really tasty.

Having a pot of tea after eating mille crepes is just nice. This is organic white peony with rose tea. The aroma of the tea is great.

Highly recommend Nadeje if you want to have western dessert for high tea.

Want some chicken rice ball?
I guess Chung Wah is the famous one as the queue is so long. Those people are willing to queue under the scorching sun just to eat the chicken rice ball. I was lazy to queue for so long under the sun, so never try it. It's just near to Red House, beside Hard Rock Cafe, opposite 三叔公饼家.

Din Din with family @ Woody 9/12/13

My very first time here..
Hidden gem away from busy roads and city lights.. WOODY FAMILY PUB CAFE

This cafe is a little special, because it's a residential bungalow on its own, converted into a cafe.

A nice and cozy place to go for dinner with your family and friends. Some of the seats are actually separated with partitions. It's really nice to have quiet chat with friends or family and not be disturbed by others. Make you feels like right at home!

Just some decorations at the cafe. X'mas feel! As Christmas is around the corner, so you can see snowman, Santa Claus and Christmas tree.. While the lighting is 24/7 there.. Whenever you go, you can see the cafe is fully decorated and light up with the LED..

Some "meaningful" words on the wall..
"NO BEER NO DAD"
Lol!

With mummy just before dinner.. Our little corner in the cafe.

Bro! Actually want to take the background only, but he sit there..

Our order : Soup of the day, mushroom soup, pork satay, spicy buffalo wings, Dunkle fish & pork back ribs w cheese sausage, lamb ribs w onion rings & potato waffle

Famous dish : buffalo wings is a must try! You can choose the level of spicyness. The minimum order is 6pcs.

The Dunkle fish is actually Guinness battered fish. But don't worry, you don't taste Guinness in the fish at all. Won't drunk.. Haha! As you can see, there's pork ribs and cheese sausage too. Because this is the combo plate. You can actually just order the fish & chips (Guinness battered) from A la carte menu.

Tummy satisfied!

Love the ambience of this cafe. So cozy! And romantic at the same time..
Will be back to try their peranakan fusion cuisine and desserts.
